A textile services company increasingly found that customers required the garments laundered for them packed individually rather than in bulk. This required up to 5 operators at peak times and was beginning to impact on work in other areas of the plant.

Following a study we recommended the installation of a semi automatic packing machine at a cost of £5,000.00.

Following a trial the machine was purchased.

Result - This area in spite of increased production volumes only requires one operator.
